COINCIDENT TV CONTINUES ENHANCING TOP TV PROPERTIES WITH NEW INTERACTIVE ONLINE VIEWING EXPERIENCE FOR FOX’S "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE"

Coincident TV’s Emmy-Nominated Superfan Technology Allows Audiences To Watch And Engage With Interactive Episodes Of The Popular Dance Competition Series On The Web

LOS ANGELES — July 12, 2010 — Starting today, Coincident TV (CTV) powers a new online viewing experience for FOX’s hit dance competition series, "So You Think You Can Dance" (SYTYCD), delivering full-length interactive episodes at http://www.fox.com/dance/superfan. This is the second FOX program site to be enhanced with Coincident TV technology, following the successful launch of the GLEE Superfan Experience, which was recently nominated for an Emmy® for Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media – Fiction.

Calling multiple media types from the cloud into a singular video player, Coincident TV’s platform allows fans of SYTYCD to watch interactive full-length episodes while simultaneously accessing insider and social content – without leaving the original episode. Available features include dancer biographies, Facebook profiles, Twitter commentary, episode recaps and video extras, including original videos on choreography and signature moves.

SYTYCD airs Wednesdays (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) and Thursdays (9:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.

"As we launch our second interactive property with FOX, it is clear that audiences are hungry for the multifaceted video experiences that we can enable," said David Kaiser, Coincident TV founder and chief executive officer. "Together, these Superfan applications represent a fundamental shift in how Web video is created and consumed, and we’re excited to partner with FOX as leaders in shaping tomorrow’s content experiences."

The SYTYCD Superfan launch is part of a broader collaboration between FOX and CTV. The Superfan experiences on FOX.com are built using Coincident TV’s cue point language (CPL). The next-generation software solution enables the rapid generation of real-time, interactive video experiences for both HTML5 and Flash platforms.

Coincident TV’s game-changing technology and Experience Builder Suite make video, not text, the root of a Web experience – turning every frame of every video into a potential linking point to launch real-time social media, weblinks, applications and transactions. The result is a new class of immersive, cross-platform video experiences that drive significant new revenue opportunities for content advertisers, owners and aggregators.
