Putting it All Together. Rapidly.
The CTV Editor Pro is an interactive video creation tool that functions as an asset assembler by incorporating existing professional graphic and video content in standard formats. CTV Editor Pro files are publishable for both Flash and HTML5 video playback.
The CTV educational video, “Hyper Aquarium,” highlights the most important features of the CTV Editor Pro. See the complete demo here.
Cue Point Pane
The CTV Editor Pro works by inserting markers — called cue points — into imported streaming or local video files, including MPEG-4 (Part 10), H.264, .mp4, .flv, .mov, .f4v, .swf, .m4v, and more. Cue points are the fundamental component of CTV’s unique Cue Point Language, which underlies the power of the editing suite. Cue points can be used for everything from linking to a website, to jumping to ancillary video, to sending SMS text messages.
Web Point Pane
Within the CTV Editor Pro, a content creator can link up annotations to the web via the web point pane. Applications of this function include jumping off to websites, e-commerce sites, or accessing social media widgets from within the video.
Annotation Tab
The CTV Editor Pro annotations tab enables the content creator to import graphic assets from Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or other graphics creation tools. Supported file formats include .swf, .jpg, .png, and more. Applications of this function include graphic overlays, menus, and buttons that link to the web.
Dynamic Layout Tab
The CTV Editor Pro allows the content creator to define the layout of the video in relation to the web browser. The principal advantage of this feature is a dynamic layout that, when jumping out to the web, offers a two-screen experience on one screen with curated content and synchronized playback.
