The CTV Player Pro offers a unique and dynamic user playback experience based on the simple interaction between player and user, by reading .ctv files (.ctv) produced by the CTV Editor Pro.

The player enhances the navigation between static- (web) and temporal- (video) based media by reading .ctv files that describe how a viewer jumps from video to video and from video to web and back. Players are currently available for HTML5 and Flash in browser and desktop playback (AIR), and integrate with most existing CMS, CDN, or proprietary third-party video players.

Annotations

The button overlays you see on the player screen (“Back,” ”Home,” ”Multi-Angle,” etc.) are called annotations. The viewer can click on an annotation to jump between video assets and web links.

Contextual E-Commerce

The CTV Player Pro allows Picture-in-Picture (PIP) navigation between the web and video. In this screenshot, notice the CTV video player in the lower right-hand corner of the Amazon.com webpage.

Multipath Browser Navigation

The CTV Player enables navigation to a web browser while remaining inside the player. By clicking on the annotations inside the video player, viewers are able to choose their own path through the connected video and web assets.

Social Media Integration

The CTV Player allows for the automatic or clickthrough generation of Facebook, Twitter, and other web service integration. This picture shows an example of a Facebook "Like" bar.
